When I went to school later on he wasn't there and had gone on a sabbatical or something so I never got to meet him. In the summer of 64 I was registering for college and my first assigned advisor was Edward Thorpe.
Well since I am bored of staying at home and it may continue for sometime, I thought I might put some of my more vivid memories down and see if other wanted to do likewise.
